After buying my timber I need to down size it .

So I think circular bench saw has got to come out of the deepest depths of my shed. That will be a mission I can tell you. The first project I will do will be dovetail box out of Walnut and Maple or Ash.

    Good luck with that Mark.

Is resawing and handplaning no option?

Still going to hand plane to finnish.

I might  give it a little go by hand saw. but I am so tired from work all the hours I have done.

Had a little go at ripping small piece of Walnut.

Going to make small winding strips.

I did get circular saw out yesterday .

I rip the bit of nosing off on the Walnut, then cut to 1/2″ thickness. Had ha couple of small T & G Oak flooring ripped tongues and grooves off. Also some Pine T & G done the same. Ripped some 4″x 2″ down to 4″ x 1 1 5/16″ stock for wedges shooting board.

Got bit of timber to play with now, just need time to do a project. I have had 3 days off  because of tiredness, had to go doctors blood tests my BP is up.

Work tomorrow just hope my days coming not going to be as long as the last few weeks 14 + hours a day.
