    Hi all,

I made a sketchup file for the toolchest. I used a model made by Robin Hale-Cooper and added drawers, top and bottom, drawer runners etc.

I can’t claim it is perfect, but pretty close. I kind of drew along while referencing the videos. The lower drawer on the model is taller than what Paul says. I have 3-1/8″ and Paul says 2-7/8″ in his video.

I don’t have handles, hinges or rounding on the edges. I think these are open to personal opinion. The joinery should all be OK.

Take a look and let me know if you think anything should be changed and I might be able to make a revision.

Wow, even showing the dovetails (including the oversized one for cutting the lid off)!! Thanks once again, Jude.

    Thanks.

Robin had the casework done, showing the corner dovetails, so thanks to him for that.

I left in the 1/8″ kerf line. This gets sawed out, but it is handy to see. it. All the drawer joints were a challenge to figure out, but it is handy to see how they are all laid out.

Beautiful job, thanks! I am trying to learn Sketchup but not at this level yet so this will be very handy if I make the tool chest.
