What is everyones opinion on the stanley #45 plane? Does anyone own one? I have a chance to get one in excellent shape at a reasonable price, Should I?
A person can’t have too many tools :). If I came across one I’d buy it.

If it’s a well priced, good example I’d snatch it up and not regret the investment 😉 They’re an excellent combination plane, but try to make sure all of it’s parts are present, as they can be a bit of a beggar to try and source individually.
