Turning handles for screw drivers

I will post again to test if I can add photos. I was unable to hack saw the blade to shape the best I could do was to make a small groove using a hack saw and then snap it off in the vice I shaped the blade using a sanding machine I have
Looking good mate mine will be coming soon maybe even tomorrow I’ll start.
David that’s a great idea. Can’t wait to see the finished screwdriver.
You can make your own screwdriver (turnscrew) blade fairly easily out of steel stock using a file. O-1 would work well but you can use old leaf springs (5160), or 4130. They don’t have to be too hard, temper to blue color (R50C). And we all learned out to heat treat in our back yards in the plane making project.
It’s a handy project as you can make one for those odd sizes.
