Contributing Editor Christopher Schwarz demonstrates how WoodOwl bits can easily power through thick oak.
Those look to be nice bits, I may purchace a couple in the future, although if I can I prefer to use a Brace and eggbeater drill. But there are times when the corded cousins or a drill press must be used.

Steve you could always use one of these, those bits will fit if the shank is no bigger than 9 mm
Thanks for the link Ken. I did not know these bits existed. I wonder how much torque your drill needs. Looks like Schwarz was using a pretty beefy corded driver.
