Cutting boards made with birds eye maple
This is made of Rauli (chilean hardwood) and Oak for the breadboards and center strip. I make some kind of recess with the spokeshave on each side for grabbing it with the fingers while stays on top of a table. My very first mortise and tenon… I made a few mistakes and they are not as accurate as they should but I think they would hold on just fine for a reasonably time… I hope 😉

I know that I actually learned something from these courses when I can just knock around ideas and execute on them. I am certainly not perfect in application, but I have actually learned techniques I can start to use outside of projects here. Thanks Paul. I’m working with wood.
Made from Tasmanian oak. Did not shape the board as I thought the square board had a modern look.
