Local (Scottish ) Oak, finished with 3 coats of clear varnish. A bit knotty and a lot of wavy grain made for “interesting” working.

Paul’s Shaker Stool in pine. Finished with Tried & True Varnish Oil. This stool feature two of the now famous Paul Sellers “slope-side-bridle-joint-with-double-recess” ;D I didn’t know I was capable of making sliding dovetails. But under Paul’s guidance, I felt comfortable all the way throughout this project.
