For years I have been sharpening with Norton water stones and after watching Paul’s videos I have been saving for Diamond stones. If anyone is interested here is link to a pretty good sale, 199 U.S. for 4 Diamond stones. Have no idea how long this sale is going to last but I just purchased mine.

Green and Green, Maloof, Krenov (his books are a great read) but when I first laid eyes on Yazawa’s joint work I started to sell every thing I own to move to Japan and study with him, very inspirational, over the top, maybe; but so much fun to try and figure out how he made the things he does…

The link to Norsewoodsmith is exactly what I was looking for, he actually has a picture of a saw suffering from almost exactly the same aliment as my saw. I have attached a picture of my saw, sorry for the quality of the photo but I think it better describes the problem. I’m going to try the vice and bend gently method. I let you all know how it works.
