Sellers Home Bedside Table: Episode 3

The simplicity of this design includes some tricks of the trade you might not find elsewhere, like how do you use a plough plane to cut grooves that don’t go all the way through but have to stop? And what can you do if the grain rises against the cutting edge and starts to tear on the surface at a visible point? You have to have a strategy that ensures crisp, clean corners every time. Yet another technique that ensures your work is pristinely accomplished. By the time we are done with this episode, we are glued up and clamped, ready for the next phase.
To Mr. Paul Sellers and the rest of the production crew
Very nice, simple but very effective. I use this method of building in my woodworking a great deal. To the production crew, what can I say but outstanding work. (LOL) Ready for the next phase of the project.
God Bless and take care to all.
Your friend from Canada Dennis
What model plow plane does Paul use? I don’t have one but would like to be on the lookout for a used one.
Thanks,
Bob
It’s a record 044, really simple and nice to use.
