  1. Thanks Paul. This past weekend I was at Rockler and picked up some of the Osmo. After I finish my current project, I plan to make another of your keepsake boxes out of mahogany and birdseye maple. Technically it will be a music box that I plan to give to my wife as a Christmas gift. Looking forward to trying the Osmo on it. Oh, the song is the one we had as our first dance at our wedding. She will have tears of joy from this project. Thanks for teaching me the skills necessary to make it. Can’t wait to make it. The first time I made this keepsake box, I noticed how much subtle detail you had designed into the piece. The second time through will be even more fun as I really understand the details involved.

  2. To Mr. Paul Sellers and the rest of the production team.
Well, very well done. The piece matches everything in the room. Great woodworking on the joints and the floating panel.
    All the best to everyone

  3. I’m building this out of sapele. It presents a severe tear-out tendency. So, I’m using my scraper plane to get the pieces down to design thickness. Problem is that the blade is 2-7/8′ wide and it doesn’t fit in my Veritas Mark II sharpening jig. The blade was sharpened previously with a 45-degree bevel and I’ve discovered that there is a skew in it. It’s hard A2 steel, so I’ve lost a lot of time trying to hone the blade square. Once that’s done, the project should go rather quickly.
