Well you did it with that box..can you get that wood in longer stock. It would look fantastic with pine. Say a sideboard with the trim or door panel in that red wood.?

Yes, I can get longer stock, here in Korea.
I also prepared many stocks in my working place.
One problem is that we ate soft bud as a special salad in Korea, so the tree
has scars everywhere. We use the tree as a legs or frames with small widths.
I will attach my previous made console made with this wood except drawers.
The color looks somewhat different because of camera.
I think the color of the original post is close.
The color changes with time to dark red.
Good looking box and table. I really like the color and the wild grain. Beautiful and full of character.
