Just wondering if anyone can help with a UK source for hinges / hardware etc. for a jewellery box. Sides are 7/16″ thick on this one.

I’ve tried these:

19mm is the total width so with the hinge pin sticking out the back of the box by 3mm, the plate would be 8mm on each side (7/16″ is just under 11mm).
Try polishing them with wet and dry sandpaper and then buffing compound on a strop (Artisan media video on youtube).
They could be considered a bit thin at 1.2mm but at 35p per hinge you can’t grumble.
