Just got a 3/4″ skewed wooden rebate plane off of ebay.
I trued up sole flattened and honed iron.
I then ran a 1/2″ marking gauge line along 2′ piece of Meranti.
I put I slight angle on plane offers up to gauge line used finger on other hand as a fence a and carefully took several passes to create a small shoulder. Then put the plane flat but away from shoulder line once same level as small shoulder I put plane right up to shoulder of rebate then continued to plane rebate.
Not 100 percent but not bad either this my first time attempting rebate with wooden plane. Not sure if I used correct procedure but seems to work quite happy with result and found it very enjoyable to do .
