I started this rocking chair when I was in Wales and had to ship it back to San Antonio Texas to finish it. Here are a few shots of what I have so far. Almost done, just need to finish one more arm rest and scrape/sand everything and start the wonderful glueing stage. This rocking chair is the same one Paul Sellers makes in his school. I guess this would be a little bit of tease of the one he’s going to eventually make on his Master video series, as he mentioned in Paul’s blog http://paulsellers.com/2013/03/mission-style-and-southern-comforts/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+paul-sellers-blog+%28Paul+Sellers%27+Blog%29

If that photo you’ve posted is any indication, that’s going to be a really nice piece when finished. I look forward to further photos as things progress. I hope you have lots of fun with this project.

I made some templates of the pieces so I can make more rocking chairs in the future. If you’re anywhere near San antonio texas and would like to borrow them, feel free to send me a message.19 October 2013 at 7:05 pm #20173BrianJParticipant
That is the piece I am saving for after I finish skill building some other projects. Good luck with the glue up- what is you planning for your finish? Question- on the rockers, is the radius consistent? Or does it change?
