Welcome! / Forums / General Woodworking Discussions / Projects / Pine Chest of Drawers
I am making a chest of drawers for a family of farmers in South Texas. They want it to be made out of Pine to match their other “honey” colored furniture. I attached a picture of the style they would like.
This project is going to include dovetails, mortis and tenons, dados, and panels.
The other picture shows the caracas.
Here we go.
It’s looking really good Mexiquite, thanks for sharing!

Looks like that 2-1/2 yr old has a lot of energy! Maybe you need to start an apprentice program and teach them how to work that plane. Teach em early, and teach em right!
The chest is looking great, you are definitely getting your practice in on cutting those dovetails.

I do not know why I would be tempted to leave drawing on draw. If I was keeping dresser myself. Nice little reminder I suppose.
Any way you are doing a great job. 😉
