Private messages problem?

Is anyone else experiencing problems with private messages? When I reply to a private message, hitting the “Send Reply” button doesn’t do anything. It highlights for a moment, as expected, but the message isn’t sent. I’ve seen this for months, now. In the past, I just had to copy the message text I had typed, reload the page, and the hit Send after pasting. Now, this doesn’t work and I must open a fresh browser window, navigate to the private messages, and then send.
I am using Chrome Version 110.0.5481.177 (Official Build) (arm64) on MacOS.
