I’ve just treated myself to a veritas hand router and I’m absolutely delighted with it. As some of you may know the cutters are detachable and mount on to a holder for ease of sharpening. Maybe one of you with more experience than I could help me, when I sharpen the cutter should I maintain its shape and angle (27.5 deg, I think) or should I grind it as I do with chisels and plane irons with a convex camber?
nooooooooooo! no camber do not change the angle on it or nothing you route will be flat. I paid the price once.
