This is an attempt to reach Paul Sellers, or someone in the know about Master Seller’s upcoming Shaker Style Dresser project he mentions on his blog.
Mr. Sellers, the timing of this is quite fortuitous for me as my wife would like me to make three dressers for the children! As it just happens, aromatic cedar, oak, and birch are all on sale this month at a local wood supply shop. I know you are still working very hard on this to bring it to us.
Might I ask though, can you give me a rough idea of how much wood I will need to buy, board foot wise? Or perhaps even a cut list. I would really like to make mine out of Oak and make parts of the drawers out of aromatic cedar. (Actually I would love to do walnut and cherry but that taken X 3 is pricey.)
I hope that in your incredibly busy schedule you will see my humble request.

PhilI know it has been a few years, however I am looking to make a 6 drawer chest and wish to go along with this series. How many board feet was needed for this 3 drawer chest? And how many hours can I expect?

We wouldn’t want to make an estimation of time but if you see how many episodes it is will help you gauge how big the project is.
