Hello everybody
I have just finished a couple of picture frames in pine. Nothing fancy really but i had quite a time getting the miters just right. I have applied 3 coats of shellac. I didn’t put any beeswax coating on top…
I had tried it on a couple of planed and sanded scraps first and I didn’t like the glossy look with the wax applied using 000 steel wool.
Basically my question is :can I get away with it? The thing will only hang on a wall and I’ll tell my mother to whom it’s for not to use a too damp rag for dusting it off… she is an active smoker though.
Any thoughts?
Thx Diego
