I have seen printed references , Dated around 2015, where there was mention that a video was forth coming for the making of sliding dovetails by hand.
A search of YouTube does not show anything concrete. Can anyone provide a link to any of Paul’s video instruction in this area?
Thanks,

Hi John. Just saw your request about sliding dovetails. Paul has done a project with sliding dovetails but I can’t remember which one it is. It wasn’t long ago and this is Dec now. I’m trying to search through and find it. Let me know if you have something since you posted.
Thanks ChrisB
I don’t remember a specific project that would use a sliding dove tail……I was just looking for a general example of how one would layout and execute a sliding dove tail, by hand of course.
Thanks for the follow up……great job you all…..really appreciate the video instructions.

The shaker stool uses hand cut single sided sliding dovetails.

The recent Linen Cupboard project also has sliding dovetails and the Cost Rack project too…

Episode 1 of the shaker stool gives specifics on layout and using a jig to cut the dovetails at a proper angle.
