Howdy,
I thought I’d start a new topic where people can post special tool deals they find on the internet, so we can all benefit.I’ll start:
regular $14.99 on Sale for $7.49 Anti Fatigue mat (also, good in case I drop a piece of wood, the mat will absorb some of the hit so it won’t damage the wood.)
Use the attached coupon to get the lower price.

With £15 Off… this Stanley Bailey 5 Piece Chisel Set looks nice too.
12 December 2013 at 5:29 pm #23724I have the Stanley premium no.4 and the low angle 62 very well made flat as you like irons nearly 1/4 thick A2 steel .
I like these a lot and good for the money.
I also have the standard and low angle block planes in the premium range. They are beefed up a lot heavier than standard block plane very good planes.Joshua Clark has a lot of tools, they aren’t cheap, but he has good stuff.

Every Wednesday he posts the new tools for sale (sign up to get the email reminder). They usually go pretty quick. I bought a 5 1/2 Stanley plane from him for $65. It’s beautiful.
18 December 2013 at 12:50 am #24080Slight correction. Josh doesn’t post new tool updates every Wednesday. It’s usually every 2 weeks, often on a Monday. It’s best to subscribe to his email list to get the announcement.
I would say his prices are fair. They aren’t flea market prices. However, the quality is very high and his descriptions accurate. He doesn’t sell junk. And if you get a tool from him and it turns out it wasn’t what you thought it was, he will take it back and refund your money.
Yes, the tools he lists go fast. Often by the time I get the email, most new tools are gone. This can be a source of frustration. On the bright side, he doesn’t list every tool he has for sale. If you email telling him what you are looking for, he may well have it in his stash. If not, he will keep you in mind should he come across it.

I’ve purchased tools from Hyperkitten and have to say his is a quality operation. You have to act fast once you get the email, things tend to sell out fast. I don’t know if he ships to the UK. That might be a good thing to post in the title of whatever deal you have found as to what side of the Atlantic Ocean it is on.Another source via email is Patrick Leach’s Supertool site
