    Hi, Paul and Joseph,
First of all I’d like to say that I’m really inspired by the latest videos on sharpening. Especially the one on sharpening to only 250 grit, it was great!
I’ve been struggling with sharpening gouges and moulding planes (especially hollows) consistently. Do you guys by any chance have a video on this planned?

This too is of great interest to me, I have spoons planned for gifts and I am having a hard time with figure8 sharpening so have gone to the rolling on the diamond stones. I also have made the shaped wood / strop but I just don’t seem to be able to get it as sharp as I think it should be (using cherry and walnut.)

I agree that would be nice, I have the same dilemma.

Also maybe recommend what slipstones I should buy first?
There are so many, tear-drop, conical, tapered and the (much hyped) “multi-form”. How should one cover all the needs with as little stones as possible?
