I’m almost ready to start assembling my workbench. It’s a Paul Sellers design from the YouTube videos – 7ft long 3ft wide with a central tool well. I’m using wedges but not sure what to make them out of. On the blog photos it looks like they’re a different wood – might be oak? Question is does it matter? Is it better to use a hardwood?
Cheers

Thanks – I’ve got some small pieces of oak so I’ll give them a try.
I’m not going to be taking it apart often – hopefully never – but it’s nice to have the option. There’s no prospect of moving it in one piece I don’t think!
Cheers
