  1. Izzy, “The technical drawing for the project will also be forthcoming within the next week or so. Have a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year!” – posted on 26th December. Still no sign of the drawing unless I am looking in the wrong place?

    1. Hi Barry,

Paul is currently working on the drawing and cutting list which we will publish as soon as it’s done.

I have updated the description to avoid confusion, thank you for your patience!

      Kind Regards,
      Izzy

  2. After watching for a while, we can probably guess as to thicknesses, and lengths and heights would depend on the size of your closet.
Once you hear the tenon widths, you can multiply that number by 3 and get the thicknesses of the board.

In the USA, we get boards that are 3/4″ thick, so to get to the suggested thicknesses, usually 7/8ths or 1 inch, I laminate two 3/4 pieces together, then cut them back. (visiting a table saw or band saw friend and then the hand planes) The cutoffs are re-usable in other projects, or drawer bottoms, or backs.
So, we are encouraged to keep a journal and maybe this is one for us to write up and “guesstimate”!

        1. I’m not sure where in Long Island you are, but check our Urban Specialty Woods in Huntington Station or Riverhead Building Supply. Urban Specialty Woods has a good variety and usually good prices and they’re staffed by woodworkers in a full shop, so they are good to bounce ideas off of too.
