Your box is coming together beautifully and what really sets off the work you’ve done is the hardware. Brass hinges look great and, so too the handles and lock in brass tie the whole together. In this episode, Paul passions the tricks of the trade in lining everything up and making sure the lock works perfectly and the handles installed to enhance the final appearance. We’re close to completion now, so follow these steps to the perfect end.
Hi Paul and crew, thank you very much for this nice project.
I’ve seen this toolbox in the background for several years now and wanted to copy it.
Now I know how, thank you.
Kind regards,
Rob
I like the very Canadian comment “Sorry… I apologised when I didn’t need to”.
Love this project, thank you all
Another great series! Thank you Paul and crew.
I think the tool box projects over the years have been my favorite to watch and make.
Any details on type and size of lock to buy for the project?
Still need help buying the right lock for the box.

After a bit of searching I discovered it is called a “surface mount pin tumbler drawer lock”. Try searching that. Hope that helps Nancy!
