Some of you may have noticed some changes happening in the background of the set. For those that are interested, Paul has blogged on the upcoming changeshere andhere. This will have a positive affect on Woodworking Masterclasses.
It has been the natural progression from the last few years of putting together tool and technique videos alongside projects here, as well as releasing Paul’s books and DVD set on the Essential Woodworking Hand Tools. Paul and Joseph put together what we call our garage set, where we have been experimenting with filming in the kind of space that a lot of people have available to them. This was a test before our forthcoming move into our new workspace over the next few months.
The most imminent result of all of this is that, starting this week, the new series on how to make a workbench will be aired on Woodworking Masterclasses. This will be in addition to all of our usual content. It will also be published with a two week delay on YouTube, but we wanted you all to have early access to the videos with all the drawings included.
This will be a great project to make for those of you yet to make a bench and there are loads of techniques and tips to learn for those of you who have already have one. We’re very exited to be able to share this series with you.
Introduction coming on Wednesday 1st, episode 1 on Friday 3rd of November and then at two weekly intervals.
For those of you who have been following along for a while the first episode of the new rocking chair video will follow a pretty familiar format. However, it actually marks the start of a new way of thinking about the content of this site. We have released bits of information here and there about…
We wish you a very Happy Christmas and a productive New Year! We are excited about the year to come and are looking forward to designing new projects, and making new videos for you to follow and enjoy. All the best from the Woodworking Masterclasses team!
It’s been a month and a bit, and we have received a whole lot of pictures of some really neat projects that you all have been working on. Check them out below!
I thought I would mention that you state the dates are in October and it should be November.
