Hepplewhite style nightstand. Sapele. Maple inlay. Crotch mahogany drawer fronts. Shellac finish.

Dovetail Box by mercified
nothing remarkable about this box (poplar, shellac, wax), but it solves the problem of “where on the benchtop is a sharp pencil?” Sharp ones in front; to-be-sharpened in back. Plus, stub tenon practice.

Paper Towel Holder by Kaleb
This is a paper towel holder made from only hand tools. Base is made from Eastern Red Cedar. Post is made from an old tobacco stick, which gave it that red oak it’s wonderful color. Used a round mortis for joinery. Finished with 3 coats of shellac and paste wax. Prettier in person.

Carving Mallets by Kaleb
Two Carvings Mallets I made from logs and without a lathe. I live in a land where we are spoiled with tons of species of trees, two of them shown here. One is Dogwood, the other Osage Orange. Both very high on the janka hardness scale and both great to use. Finished with mineral oil and paste wax.

Dining Chair by Chris Stasny
