Made of Soft Maple and Sassafras, which is a WONDERFUL wood to work with. Finished with danish oil. Dovetailed corners, dados joints, and a wooden insert locknuts for the log support.

My first major project. Built out of second-hand spruce wood with hand tools only. Finished with raw linseed oil. Took me three months, including trestles, ripping and resawing stock by hand.
