It’s time once more to open the door to a world of woodworking, as created by our wonderful community. Here is a round up of our latest photo submissions.

Slant Top Desk by Paul Bowes
Made from maple and curly maple. Joints are dovetail, sliding dovetail, housing joints, tools used hand saws, #4, #5 planes, plough plane, chisels and thorex hammer. Finished with Danish oil and Bri wax.

Tool drawer organizer with black walnut drawer fronts and poplar carcass finished with blonde shellac and bees wax furniture polish.

Craftsman-style Tool Carrier by Vivek Prabhu
Made from poplar and sapwood black walnut with through tenon oak bar and handles with black walnut pins. Dovetail box from oak pallet wood. All finished with blonde shellac and beeswax furniture polish.

Game Dice Tower and Tray by Michael Campbell
Cherry and walnut dice tower and tray I made for my niece as a birthday present. Three different joinery methods were used (box joint, miter/spline and dovetails).

Corner Shelf by Michal
Pine, finished with chalk paint and water-based varnish.

Sofa Table by Peter Marshall
Sofa Table – 1100mm long *420mm wide * 800mm tall . Legs taper from 45 mm square to 32 mm square .Wood is walnut with an oil/wax finish . Thanks to Paul for this great table build series .

Bee Hive by James Bishop
A traditional Layens Bee hive with some embellishments. Made from green oak with all hand made joinery. Will hopefully be full of bees by spring next year!

Small dovetail box made from pitch pine and finished in Linseed oil and paste wax.

Wood is walnut four coats of shellac and waxing. One small plank retrieved from local skip.

First ever chair for me and a testimony to Paul’s teaching. I used everything I learned here to add the table and footrest in the same style. Mostly 1/4 sawn Oak
