I picked up a Belknap Blue Ridge Router Plane at a show today. Appears to be in decent condition, but only had one cutter with it.
Anyone familiar with these? I have found much information about them online so far.
Thanks,
Don

It looks to me like a Sargent version of the Stanley 71 that has been rebranded. The auxiliary base mounting holes near the handles, the notched cutter retainer ring, the curved logo, the shape of the handles and what looks to me to be a slightly different knurled adjuster looks more like the Sargent version , which I believe was a model 62 ( the model 61 was very like a Stanley 71 1/2.)
If the knurled adjuster engages the cutter with a screw type adjuster instead of a single ring and screw post and the cutter has multiple notches, it’s a slam dunk. ( I can’t tell from your picture)
Here’s a model 61
I’ve seen a Sargent made router under the Winchester label as well.
I’m not sure how you got two retainer rings…
