Very nice, Mark! I find your center panel to be especially impressive. Also, love the contrast of the two woods.
@cpetersen1970
I do like contrast as well. I do like to mix my woods
I found the crown piece pretty hard to do still not perfect. Getting the Maple Arch piece to sit on the Walnut was a challenge.
The whole thing has been a challenge really because of the curved work involved.
I have enjoyed every minute.
I have got to cut hole, glue up and finish. Maybe in another month I will have finished. :O
Still can not believe I have not finished 🙁
I have put 6 coats of shellac on, run out of time to put furniture wax on. I need to let last coat to harden a bit more. Had a couple of little dribbles and a few brush marks. Flattened each coat wire wool.
If get enough time after work I’ll have a go at putting furniture wax on. Then post Pictures.
wow Mark that looks fantastic you should feel very proud of yourself with that well done
My Mum was delighted with the clock I made.
I gave it to her as a Birthday gift today made me feel very proud. 🙂
I sure she was proud David thank you.
I’m going to hang clock in place tomorrow.
My poor Mum not been too well this year had an op for cancer now on a course of chemotherapy for six months. Fingers crossed so far signs are good.
