Making & Fitting a Cornice

Cornice Info

This is the introduction for a free series. Want to watch the whole thing? It is free to do so, you just need to log into the site and you can enjoy this series and many other videos we think you will love.

A cornice can be the perfect finishing feature for a number of projects or fittings. Paul shows how to use hand tools and techniques to make and fit a cornice, including optional beading, in this case to a cabinet. He also shows a method he has developed for making a support frame for the cornice. This enables the cornice to be securely fixed in place, but also removable without causing damage to the project.

Tool Cabinet Project

These videos form a small part of our rather epic Tool Cabinet Project, which can be streamed as part of a paid subscription.

Hello all, Cornice Fitting Part 2 should be up and running now. I’ll pop back a little later on an tidy these comments up a bit. If you do run into any further difficulties, please do contact us using the contact sheet, which is much clearer and more immediate for us, whereas the comments can be a bit needle-haystacky. Thanks everyone for you patience.

@TIREDTRAVELER I see three videos. There’s no intro video, but there are links to three videos. Do they work for you?

Oh, OK if that is the way this topic is set up. It is different than the others that open to a video.
    Yes everything is fine then.
    Thanks for the quick reply.
    JIM
