Sellers Home Bed: Episode 5

With almost no straight lines to the head and footboard posts, we use many techniques to get perfect results; for those with no bandsaw to cut with, no problem. The steps using Paul’s usual stop cuts get you all the way, and there is much to learn because the size of the material requires some added work detail. From spokeshaves to scrub planes and their different types, we suddenly seem to arrive at perfect posts. Anyone enjoying hand-tool woodworking will love this episode.
I’m happy to see I’m not the only one to “ lose a tool” that’s right in front of me!
I’m also happy I’m not on film when it happens!
AUDIO WORKING BUT NOT THE VID, OPENING PIC STAYS ON SCREEN?
Thanks for this Paul, nice to learn the art of curves by hand.
Very good masterclass, Paul. Would love to see a video from your team on making a scraper from an old saw.
By the way, would it be ok, if you modified the curve of the original template to the one that was dictated by the alternate curve (the honest mistake.)
