It’s that time again! Time to be a little bit nosey and a lot bit inspired as we take a look at all of the community photos folks have kindly sent in over the last fortnight.

Outdoor Bench by John Choi
Pine for the side structures, spotted gum for the rails and back slays. Finished with oil stain and Tung oil.

Box made for a family heirloom Bible that’s 180 years old using 100 year old timber

My first project using oak.

Coffee Table by c fenton
This coffee table is made out of Douglas Fir redrawn from construction grade lumber. It is a matching piece to a side table I posted earlier. Finished with three coats of shellac and wax polish.

Bedside Cabinet by Kered Winder
Bedside Table, Birch Ply with stained walnut Hard Wax Oil then polished with Ash edging chamfered on all edges. It took 6months from start to finish as I had to remake three new sections the staining took loads of time due to the number of coats required to get the very shiny finish. All perpendicular panels are dominoes by way of a table router and using festool’s dominos
