In this first episode Paul shows how to cut the housing dado and construct this simple box structure. He shows how to lay out the joints and cut the six housing dados that make up the box.
This project has six housing dado joints in it. These are all through housing dadoes and are used extensively for bookshelves. It’s probably the simplest of all the joints to make but no other joint type can really replace it.
