paul’s beginning to return to the workshop
If you follow Paul on his blog or you have may have seen on Social Media that Paul was injured during an assault on Thursday 21st March 2024 while out cycling. You can read the announcement on his blog here.
Paul needed to take a break from woodworking. Any content that has been released since the incident was filmed before. The doctor advised him to do as much as he was able to and so this week Paul has begun to do a little woodworking. We had filmed up until mid June so this return hasn’t been due to pressure for content but Paul wanting to do the thing he loves.
Dear Paul,
I was so shocked to hear that you had been assaulted and injured on your return home. I am also praying for your rapid and complete recovery. I feel so blessed to have you as my woodworking mentor and hope to see you up and about soon. Shalom to you and your family.

This is indeed a very bad surprise News post. I went to read the blog post to see what happened. So sad to read and see that indeed there are bad people in this world. Why would anyone push someone cycling?
To hear that it happens to anyone is sad and dissapointing, but to someone who gives so much to the world is even more sad.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Paul, three broken ribs does sound VERY painful. It takes time to recover but you’ll get there and when you’re back there are so many people out there who will be so happy to see you recovered and continue to enjoy your teachings.
Regards,
David
Paul – please take the time you need to fully recover, every aspect of recovery, we can wait for you. While we wait, you have plenty of lessons that can be revisted and when you do come back we will be ready for even more of your knowledge and experience.
We couldn’t keep Paul out of his workshop if we tried! He has cautiously returned to the workshop for the last couple of weeks and is doing better every day.
