If you keep an eye on ebay uk there is a seller who has ray isles replacement blades for the 043. I doubt you’d get a better blade than those.

I have a fence with my record router so I might give that a go. Anything to avoid using electricity.
9 December 2013 at 9:23 pm #23408I would have replied sooner but didn’t get any emails saying someone replied.
Thanks for the pics of your plane, I did wonder if a chisel stuck in a block of wood would work. I’m going to save your pictures and see if I can come up with something.
8 December 2013 at 5:30 pm #23298Thanks for reminding me of that one. It might work but I’m cutting grooves in pieces that are 2400mm long.
21 August 2013 at 8:19 pm #16859Paul,
I know you’re very busy so I just figured you had the bloke in NY doing them if needed. I didn’t want to add to your plate by pestering you about it.
21 August 2013 at 8:15 pm #16858I don’t at the moment but I could knock one up for you easily enough.
I’ll get onto it in a bit, I’ve got a pile of draughting to do and a half installed dishwasher to finish off. Oh the joy of 1950’s in situ cabinetry 🙁
14 August 2013 at 9:17 pm #16574I had offered to do sketch up files for each project gratis but it never panned out.
24 July 2013 at 6:55 pm #15223Cool. I have his first book.
I guess I’m going to have to stop shaving and getting my barnet cut and go all crunchy granola looking 🙂
23 April 2013 at 1:39 am #11253If you’re in Western Maryland or the surround area, the best place for timber is Hicksville Planing Mill. 14464 Hicksville Road Clear Spring, MD 21722-1240 (301) 842-3474
24 December 2012 at 11:37 pm #5612Merry Xmas! God bless us, everyone.
On a side note, Paul should be on the new years honours list for a OBE 😉
20 November 2012 at 12:26 am #3482I could have picked up the new stanley 750’s for $150 after Xmas at the woodworking show but it was either the chisels or Pauls dvd’s and book. I went for the latter.
I use a set of proper Marples blue chips but I quite fancy the AI mk2’s once the needed tools are all acquired.
19 November 2012 at 4:02 pm #3443If the dollar wasn’t so weak to the pound I’d be more than happy to buy stuff from Matthew.
18 November 2012 at 10:30 pm #3438Hopefully that one will make it over here as a wood river. The version that dictum sells comes with a aluminium hot dog and a rather unfortunate poo brown paint colour.
14 November 2012 at 10:29 pm #3208Well at least you got a start on it mate. I haven’t been to get the timber yet 🙁
