55 years on, Paul remakes his first ever woodworking project, a simple yet modern looking wall shelf featuring stopped housing dados, plugged screws, homemade hardware and shaped and rounded sides.

- Smoothing plane (No 4)

Looks like a good first project for my daughter – if I can get her to put her phone down for a few hours!

I built this (or a version of it at least) on Fathers’ Day with my 13 year old daughter. We had a great time and she’s really proud of her new shelves!
